To our line-up, customers, supporters, and everyone just discovering Cuts And Comics,

If you’ve ever sat in our chairs, brought your family in, picked up a comic book, or supported us in any way, you are the reason Cuts And Comics exists.

For almost three years, we’ve been building something different: the world’s first and ONLY comic book store and barbershop under one roof. A place where every haircut comes with a free comic book, and kids can choose a surprise from what has now been named the “treasure box” by our grandson, Kacen.

What started in the Newnan, GA community has grown into something much bigger than us.

We are a husband-and-wife-owned family business. We’ve built this business from the ground up with one mission: bringing families together through creativity, storytelling, and literacy through the reading of comic books.

Now we’re working toward our next chapter, expanding beyond Newnan, GA, starting with Atlanta, GA, and ultimately building a nationwide franchise that brings this experience to communities across all 50 states.

And it takes support. Like many independently owned businesses — especially those building something new — we balance payroll, rent, utilities, and inventory while keeping our doors open and trying to grow at the same time.

If every supporter gave just $5, it would help us take real steps toward opening new locations, creating jobs, and introducing more families to a space where reading and community come together in a fun and natural way.

Representation matters too. There are less than 20 black owned comic book stores out of 50 states. We are one of them. That makes Ragan potentially the only known current Black female comic book store owner. That reality is not about attention—it’s about showing what is possible and making sure more doors open for the people coming behind us.
